funny stories

this is mattie.

so today, my mom sent us away-from-home girls an email with some funny stories that happened this week in the daines family.  and i quote, "if i updated my blog, i would post these stories."

wait..."my blog?"  i think in order to call it "your blog," you actually have to write some posts, mom.  i hope you haven't been telling people that you have a blog.  poser!

it got me thinking, and i decided that i'd just post the stories for her.  here you go, in tearsa's very own words, but typed by mattie.  because copying and pasting it from the email into blogger is much too taxing for my technologically-troubled mother (you don't even have to post pictures, mom!).

Will and I were in the car and I asked him if he had any homework. He was going through each class and when he came to US History, he said, "Oh yeah, I have to make a map."
With that he suddenly bursts into song, "Mapmaker, mapmaker, make me a map." He then looked at me and said, "Is that how it goes?

We were at Will's church basketball game last night and our team was losing miserably. We had about 60 seconds left in the 4th period and the opposing team was dribbling the ball down the court. Thomas and his friend Jacob Allen started a loud count down, 5-4-3-2... I looked at the clock, we had 40 seconds left to play, however the other team suddenly shot the ball thinking it was the end of the game, everyone looked at the clock then all spectators on the stage burst into laughter because these two little boys had duped us all.

so what do you people think?  are you still out there?  do you still check this blog?  after over a year of her not posting a single thing?  desperately hoping that one day, maybe just one day, she'd have a post for you to read?  hello?

leave a comment and encourage my mom to send me more emails with things she'd like me to post on her blog.  it might just be easier that way.

It's not the tech thing, it's the time thing you know. I have an unfinished baby quilt for Jonah. When I get the time to do that, I will post! Thanks Mattie. You made my day! I had a good laugh over the poser comment.

Good idea Matco. Maybe you could post on my blog too... Because I'm sure you don't have anything else to do.
